Heat-resistant tape

Butcher paper or shrink wrap

Heat press (mug or convection oven)

Heat-resistant gloves

Rubbing alcohol & lint-free cloth
Step 1: Prepare Your Tumbler & Design

Print Your Design:
Use sublimation paper and a sublimation printer with compatible ink. -
Clean the Glass Surface:
Wipe down the tumbler with rubbing alcohol and a lint-free cloth to remove dust, fingerprints, or oils. -
Align & Tape:

Wrap the sublimation print tightly around the glass.

Use heat-resistant tape to secure all edges.

Avoid air gaps or wrinkles to prevent ghosting.

Wrap in Butcher Paper:
Optional but recommended — this protects your press or oven from ink blowout.
Step 2: Heat Pressing

Temperature: 375°F to 400°F (190°C to 204°C)

Time: 60–120 seconds per side (rotate if necessary)

Pressure: Light to medium
For heat press users:

Use a mug press that fits the tumbler snugly.

Press one side, rotate 180°, then press the other.
For convection oven users:
-
Use shrink wrap for a tight fit.

Bake at 375°F for approx. 12–15 minutes (monitor closely).
Step 3: Finishing Touch

Use Gloves:
Carefully remove the hot tumbler using heat-resistant gloves. -
Cool Down:
Allow the tumbler to cool completely before removing tape and paper. -
Reveal Your Design:
Slowly peel off the paper and inspect the vibrant transfer.
