Sublimation Instructions – Double Wall Glass Tumbler (16 oz)

✅ Materials Needed:

• Sublimation printer & sublimation ink

• Sublimation paper

• Heat-resistant tape

• Butcher paper or shrink wrap

• Heat press (mug or convection oven)

• Heat-resistant gloves

• Rubbing alcohol & lint-free cloth

Step 1: Prepare Your Tumbler & Design

1. Print Your Design:
   Use sublimation paper and a sublimation printer with compatible ink.

2. Clean the Glass Surface:
   Wipe down the tumbler with rubbing alcohol and a lint-free cloth to remove dust, fingerprints, or oils.

3. Align & Tape:

   • Wrap the sublimation print tightly around the glass.

   • Use heat-resistant tape to secure all edges.

   • Avoid air gaps or wrinkles to prevent ghosting.

4. Wrap in Butcher Paper:
   Optional but recommended — this protects your press or oven from ink blowout.

Step 2: Heat Pressing

• Temperature: 375°F to 400°F (190°C to 204°C)

• Time: 60–120 seconds per side (rotate if necessary)

• Pressure: Light to medium

For heat press users:

• Use a mug press that fits the tumbler snugly.

• Press one side, rotate 180°, then press the other.

For convection oven users:

• Use shrink wrap for a tight fit.

• Bake at 375°F for approx. 12–15 minutes (monitor closely).

Step 3: Finishing Touch

1. Use Gloves:
   Carefully remove the hot tumbler using heat-resistant gloves.

2. Cool Down:
   Allow the tumbler to cool completely before removing tape and paper.

3. Reveal Your Design:
   Slowly peel off the paper and inspect the vibrant transfer.
